Terms of Service

Tajdeed provides document expiry tracking, AI-powered document scanning, and renewal reminder alerts for individuals and families residing in GCC countries (Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman).

Tajdeed is a reminder tool only. We do not process, submit, or assist with any government renewal application. The accuracy of renewal requirements, fees, and procedures in our guides is provided for informational purposes only and may not reflect the latest official requirements.

To use Tajdeed, you must:

• —Be at least 18 years of age, or have parental consent if between 13 and 18.
• —Provide accurate account information (email, name).
• —Have the legal right to create an account in your country of residence.

You are responsible for:

• —Keeping your account credentials confidential.
• —All activity that occurs under your account.
• —Notifying us immediately at hello@tajdeed.app if you suspect unauthorised access.
• —Ensuring the document data you enter is accurate.

You may not share your account, create accounts on behalf of others without authorisation, or use the service for any commercial purpose other than managing your own or your immediate family's documents.

Tajdeed offers the following plans:

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through the App Store (Apple) or Google Play (Android). Subscription management, including cancellation, is handled through your device store account. We do not process card payments directly.

Free trial: Personal plan subscriptions may include a free trial period. After the trial ends, your stored payment method will be charged unless you cancel before the trial expires.

No refunds: All payments are final and non-refundable, except where required by applicable law or at our sole discretion.

You agree not to:

• —Use Tajdeed for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations.
• —Upload documents belonging to individuals who have not consented to their data being tracked.
• —Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or access the underlying code of the service.
• —Interfere with or disrupt the servers, networks, or security of the service.
• —Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to access or interact with the service.
• —Resell, sublicense, or commercialise access to the service.

The document scanning feature uses Anthropic Claude to extract structured data (document type, expiry date, holder name, document number) from photos of your documents.

By using the scan feature, you acknowledge that:

• —Your document image is transmitted to Anthropic Claude for processing.
• —The AI extraction may not be 100% accurate. You are responsible for verifying extracted data before relying on it.
• —We are not responsible for consequences arising from incorrect AI extraction results that you did not correct.

Tajdeed sends expiry alerts via push notification and email based on the dates you enter. You acknowledge that:

• —Alert delivery depends on device settings, network connectivity, and email deliverability. We cannot guarantee every alert will be received.
• —You remain solely responsible for monitoring your document expiry dates. Tajdeed alerts are a convenience tool, not a substitute for your own diligence.
• —We are not liable for any fines, penalties, or consequences arising from missed renewals, including failed alert delivery.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tajdeed and its operators are not liable for:

• —Any fines, penalties, or legal consequences resulting from expired documents.
• —Errors in AI-extracted document data that you did not correct.
• —Loss of data due to account deletion or technical failure.
• —Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim, or $10 USD, whichever is greater.

All content, branding, design, and software in Tajdeed (excluding your personal data) is owned by or licensed to Tajdeed and protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You retain ownership of any data you upload or enter into the service. By using the service, you grant us a limited licence to process and store your data solely to provide the service features described in these terms.

You may delete your account at any time from within the app settings or by emailing hello@tajdeed.app. Upon deletion, your data is removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or use the service in a way that harms other users or the service itself. We will notify you before termination unless the violation is severe.

We may update these Terms of Service. Material changes will be communicated via email and in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which Tajdeed operates. Disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation in the first instance. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
